Joba Chamberlain’s Bug Spray Up For Auction

By Adam McFarland | Posted at 7:09 pm | Filed Under MLB

Are you the collector that has everything?  Do you sit around the house thinking to yourself “what else could I collect?”  If so, I’ve got the perfect collectible for you:  the can of Off bug spray that Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain used to (try to) get those nasty bugs off his neck in the MLB playoffs against Cleveland.

I’d expect this to show up on eBay from some clubhouse attendant trying to make a few bucks.  Hell, if I was a clubhouse attendant I’d probably scrounge up random crap and throw it on eBay.  But the auction is being held on MLB.com!?!?!  It’s a freaking can of Off…that you can buy anywhere for a few bucks.  Come on people, no one is actually going to believe you that you have the real can anyway.  For that matter, who actually believes MLB has the real can?  Save your money.  Please.
